A young prodigy from Africa, Dhara joined the Academy to pursue a hairdressing course. Her passion and years of training and experience have made her a versatile artist capable of adapting to any role.
As the makeup industry develops, standing out from the crowd and building a successful career can be challenging. “By being an artist that can camouflage into any given role—accepting and trying diverse techniques according to the client’s features. In a world like today, it’s all about minimalism, but many people also want to go for the most coverage, a pop of any color, or even just an element of glam. I, as an artist, want to be a person who can do anything. From minimalistic to glam, special effects, prosthetics, bridal, editorial, and more,” shares Dhara.
Dhara’s commitment to teaching and mentoring aspiring hair and makeup artists makes her an invaluable addition to our team at VC Academy. Through her experiences and insights, she highlights the importance of patience, persuasion, and understanding in makeup artistry.
